Bassoon Reed, model Halvorsen

This reed has narrow, convex blades. The contour is often described as goblet shaped. These shapes tend to be darker in tone with more resistance.

This is a bassoon reed with a warm, big and rich sound. The Halvorsen Narrow sounds a bit brighter. Both reeds requier a good breath support.

Applicable for orchestra- as well as solo performances
